Introduction: The Case for Procedures in Primary Care
摘要
Office-based procedures, particularly women’s health procedures, play a vital role in the care of women. The more access that a woman can have to common procedures, the higher the likelihood that she will receive timely care. Most procedures are quite straightforward and require limited equipment and a minor amount of training. However, if a practitioner has not received that training, the likelihood of being able to feel competent enough to perform these procedures lessens, thus constricting access to basic healthcare for women. We aim to eliminate some of these barriers.
