Analysis of Working Conditions at an Agro-Industrial Complex Processing Facility

The assessment of the working conditions of food industry workers indicates that every third employee is engaged in tasks involving hazardous and/or dangerous working conditions. The production environment, particularly noise, ultrasonic, and infrasonic exposure, exerts the most significant impact on workers. Alcohol processing plants are among the most noise-intensive industries, as evidenced by a specialized assessment of working conditions. Studying the current state of improving working conditions under the influence of industrial noise suggests that solving the problem involves three main directions: 1) establishing an effective organizational structure for labor protection based on comprehensive data collection and analysis of all harmful factors; 2) developing and organizing technological processes with minimal noise impact on workers; 3) selecting a complex of systems and means of collective and individual protection for workers to maintain workplace parameters at the level of existing sanitary and hygienic standards. This paper presents an analysis of the noise regime in the bottling workshop of the Saransk Distillery LLC. The conducted analysis revealed distinct areas within the production workshop with elevated noise hazards. The excess of the permissible noise level at the workplace of the machine operator of washing machines is 12.6 dB. In light of the assessed noise situation at the production facility, recommendations are provided by the authors for noise reduction caused by the equipment of the bottle washing department and the transporting devices of the bottling workshop of Saransk Distillery LLC.
