The study is aimed at estimation of environment components, influencing spatial distribution of noise. The environment's most significant characteristics and their spatial-temporal dynamics manifestation are isolated and analyzed. The boundary conditions facilitating noise propagation or, on the contrary, noise absorption are determined. The paper offers an approach to a comparative assessment of various natural sites, realizable based on a composite indicator of noise propagation.
