Rothbard the Political Scientist and Political Philosopher
摘要
In 1973, Rothbard published For a New Liberty: The Libertarian Manifesto. It is a text in which we find a deeply militant Rothbard who is very much affected by the historical, cultural, and political climate of those years. The most forceful theme in Rothbard’s thought and militancy is his opposition to the United States involvement in the Vietnam War. These were years that brought to maturity Rothbard’s detachment from the New Right and the formation of a conscious libertarian movement that was independent and opposed to any military and imperialist commitment of the United States in foreign policy.
