Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a modern approach to creating building models that combines shapes and data. Unlike traditional computer-aided design (CAD) systems, which focus mostly on how buildings look, BIM gives construction industry stakeholders and regulatory agencies valuable information for better decision-making. Many countries are starting to use BIM in their approval processes, but the level of use varies widely. The main goal is to make the most of the information from building models to speed up approvals. This paper looks at how to create architectural models that check for compliance with zoning rules. It emphasises the importance of getting feedback from architects and using their tools throughout the process. To follow master plans, the models were made with different levels of detail, which helps evaluate compliance more effectively. The findings show that creating approval models requires different methods than traditional architectural design. These new techniques can speed up the approval process, making it more efficient. By adopting these practices, stakeholders can improve the accuracy of their designs and help create a more organised approval process in the construction industry.
