The STEM Ready Pathway Program is a collaborative, interinstitutional initiative to increase equity and workforce alignment in STEM education. Through partnerships among the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), Montgomery College (MC), and The Universities at Shady Grove (USG), the program offers a structured pathway for students from high school to a 4-year STEM degree and into regional employment. With a focus on serving underrepresented populations, STEM Ready integrates academic training, experiential learning, career readiness, and industry credentials into a cohesive framework supported by a guiding philosophy of STEMpowerment. Microcredentials play a central role by validating skills in real-time and increasing students’ employability. Institutional and employer collaboration ensures that program components remain relevant to industry demands while reducing barriers to student success. This chapter outlines the program’s evolution, key pillars, infrastructure, and lessons learned, offering actionable insights for practitioners seeking to build inclusive, scalable STEM pathways. By embedding equity, data-driven decision-making, and workforce development into each pathway stage, STEM Ready provides a replicable model for bridging the gap between education and employment in STEM fields.

摘要
