Influence of Chemical Composition on the Chemical Resistance of Container Glasses
摘要
The main trends in the development of the glass container market and promising directions for improving its properties were analyzed. The need to increase the chemical resistance of container glasses due to modern surface modifications and changes in composition is substantiated. The influence of the chemical composition on the change in structure and chemical stability of container glass was analyzed. The comparative characteristics of alkaline earth metals on the chemical resistance of silicate glasses to various reagents are presented. The possibility of modifying the composition of glass containers for the development of glasses based on their pharmaceutical purpose has been determined. The effect of changing the content of SiO2, Al2O3, Σ(Na2O + K2O), Σ(CaO + MgO) on the chemical stability of industrial container glasses was determined. The developed composition of industrial container glass with a change in the ratio of oxides in the glass within the limits of the regulatory documentation has actual values of chemical resistance at 371 K − 0.28 cm3 of a solution of 0.01 mol/dm3 of hydrochloric acid, and at 394 K − 0.52 cm3 of a solution of 0.02 mol/dm3 of hydrochloric acid, which allows it to be used in the development of medical glasses.
