Modern Software Trends in Data Processing and Bibliometric Research Mapping: Some Examples on the Field of Transport Policy Regulation
摘要
The complexity of information retrieval and systematization is due to the overwhelming amount of data available from various sources and the need to organize and make sense of this information effectively. To cope with the complexity of information retrieval and systematization, researchers can use various strategies, including the use of advanced retrieval techniques and modern software for data processing and literature analysis. The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate the different methods used in bibliometric research. To achieve this goal, the Scopus database was searched for articles containing the terms “transportation policy”, “transportation strategic planning” or “transportation planning optimization” in the abstract. Several software applications such as VOSviewer, Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) were demonstrated in this study.
