Optimized Random Forest Algorithm for Early Detection of Leaf Diseases in Pepper, Potato and Tomato

Timely detection of plant diseases is a crucial step in sustainable agriculture environment as it can help the farmers to get rid from the problem of starvation and economic loss. With the advancements of technologies, machine learning has drawn a lot of interest in identification of plant leaf diseases. The objective of this paper is to present a detailed overview and comparison of Random Forest with other popular machine learning methods such as SVM, KNN and Naïve Bayes. This will help the researchers in selecting a suitable machine learning algorithm for the prediction of diseases depending upon the requirements.
