This chapter summarizes the contributions of Part II of this book, which explores the challenge of classically simulating quantum circuits. The proposed methods employ decision diagrams as a dedicated data structure to speed up the classical simulation of quantum circuits and overcome the excessive memory requirements. The resulting methods have been integrated into the open-source classical quantum circuit simulator DDSIM, which is available at https://github.com/munich-quantum-toolkit/ddsim

摘要

This chapter summarizes the contributions of Part II of this book, which explores the challenge of classically simulating quantum circuits. The proposed methods employ decision diagrams as a dedicated data structure to speed up the classical simulation of quantum circuits and overcome the excessive memory requirements. The resulting methods have been integrated into the open-source classical quantum circuit simulator DDSIM, which is available at https://github.com/munich-quantum-toolkit/ddsim
