Simulation Paths for Quantum Circuit Simulation with Decision Diagrams
摘要
This chapter explores the impact of simulation paths on the efficiency of classical quantum circuit simulation using decision diagrams. A framework is presented that allows one to exploit arbitrary simulation paths and to connect the domain of tensor networks with the domain of decision diagrams. It is shown that much can be learned from tensor networks, but also that not everything can be learned from them. The resulting consequences on what can and cannot be learned from tensor networks are discussed.
