The Impact of ChatGPT on the Entrepreneurial Intention of Students at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University: A Gender-Based Approach
摘要
ChatGPT is a software that may alter the intentions and perceptions of students in Morocco regarding their entrepreneurial education. We investigate the influence of ChatGPT on entrepreneurial intention among Higher School of Technology students at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez, highlighting the importance of our study by emphasizing gender as a moderator variable. Using a qualitative approach, it examines students enrolled in the Management Techniques program, describing how ChatGPT had a positive impact on their motivation, assistance in overcoming challenges, and providing confidence when engaging in entrepreneurial projects. Data reveals that male students came to entrepreneurship with clear intentions, while female students, although initially ambivalent about their motivations, experienced a change in their aspirations after interacting with ChatGPT. It also underscores the transformative potential of AI tools in empowering underrepresented groups, while stresses that targeted support is needed to build inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems.
