Tracking of Material Management on Site by Using Analogy Based System
摘要
Construction and industrial projects rely on efficient material management to ensure success in terms of budget, schedule, and quality. The conventional approach of material monitoring is insufficient and prone to mistakes, which has led to budget overruns. In order to increase precision and productivity on building sites, this suggests a material monitoring system that is based on analogies. The system uses a combination of RFID tagging, GPS monitoring, and real-time data processing to keep tabs on where materials are going and how they’re being used, much like traditional logistics and inventory management methods. The particular requirements of a building site are well-suited to the analogy-based approach strategy, which is useful for adapting successful techniques from other sectors, such as retail and manufacturing. Better decision-making and resource allocation are two outcomes of this system’s implementation, which also increases accountability and decreases waste by providing stakeholders with clear, up-to-date information. The system’s efficacy in field testing suggests it has great potential for wider implementation in the construction sector to improve material management and support project goals.
