In Chap. 7 , we examine the relationship between The Antichrist and the planned third volume of the Revaluation of All Values, entitled The Immoralist, about morality. In Nietzsche’s other late books, he emphasizes the close connection between Christianity and morality. However, discussions of morality (and immoralism) are almost completely absent from The Antichrist. This is almost certainly because he planned to discuss morality in the third volume. I present and discuss two ‘prefaces’ to this volume (and translate one of them into English for the first time) that Nietzsche wrote after he had finished The Antichrist, and some of his late notes. By examining this material, we are able to gain a better understanding of the planned The Immoralist, and of Nietzsche’s final view on morality, including the kind of morality that he affirms.
