The aim of this chapter is to share the experience of listening to music and performing it as a form of discourse. While this may have been taken for granted in the eighteenth century, when it was a current metaphor, thinking of music in rhetorical terms is now a concept that requires a significant shift and therefore a challenge for both performers and theorists. Having explored the practical aspects of music as a performer, this author has spent several years focusing on the theoretical aspect of this approach.

摘要

The aim of this chapter is to share the experience of listening to music and performing it as a form of discourse.
