Exploring the Impact of Executive Motivating Language Use on Perceived Leadership Credibility and Likability: The Moderating Role of Gender and the Mediating Effect of Role Congruence
摘要
Female executive leaders are less common than men in the United States, despite rising education levels among women and the increasing number of women in the workforce. As of today, only 44 organizations in the Fortune 500 are led by a female CEO (Hinchliffe, 2023a, 2023b), just over 10 percent. From this, it can be understood that both men and women working in organizations in America are less likely to have experienced a female executive, or if they have then they are likely to have experienced it less often than a male executive.
