Visual impairment can be present in patients from birth, but it can also occur as part of life. This work is based on data and the situation exclusively in our country BiH, the importance of rehabilitation after eye injury of any kind in the childhood and adolescence period, which is very extensive and specific as a phenomenon, prosthetics and their use. Also, one of the highlights of this work is anxiety in this group of patients, which is very pronounced at this age. The category of blind people is very neglected in our country, and assisted rehabilitation and assistive technologies are completely underdeveloped in our region. Is it actually a matter of financial problems, or just the inability to familiarize parents with the possibilities offered by innovative technologies. The main emphasis of this paper will be on the inclusion of blind and visually impaired students in the context of education, as well as all mitigating circumstances. Also, a secondary presentation of the adaptation of the educational process, as well as proposals and possible innovative ideas for all other principles of life of such persons. Namely, in our country there are no specially educated persons or programs that would clearly lead to the presentation of each of the above-mentioned items in the title of the paper.
