Virtual Reality in Health Education: A Scoping Review of Recent Clinical Trials and Meta-analysis
摘要
Virtual reality (VR) has emerged as a powerful tool across various domains, including health education. By simulating real-world scenarios, VR offers immersive and interactive learning environments that can enhance educational outcomes for both students and healthcare professionals. Recent research indicates that VR can significantly improve comprehension, skill acquisition, and knowledge retention in medical and health education, often proving more effective than traditional teaching methods. This scoping review aims to assess the effectiveness of VR in healthcare education by analyzing findings from recent clinical trials, randomized controlled trials (RCTs), and meta-analyses. The review synthesizes studies published over the past decade to provide a comprehensive overview of the current role of VR in health education and to explore its potential for future applications.
