The concept of transhumanism, its purpose and its implementation using bio-transformative technologies is introduced. The applications of transhumanism are illustrated leading to Human 3.0 covering life extension technologies to its ultimate final phase of Human 4.0 “Gaia Sapiens”. The conclusion lists seven ways Transhumanism will contribute to the world by 2030: body augmentation; thought transference; behavioural science and gamification; business empathetic interaction; extreme personalisation; paradigm shifts and greater conformance to societal values and the comparison of futurist ideas and positions. Finally, Posthumanism is discussed being the future embodiment of the more inclusive and global form of Transhumanism.
