Dynamic Navigation for Dental Implant Surgery: A Narrative Review
摘要
The development of dynamic navigation DN technology marked a major advancement in the conduct of dental implants, as it allows computer-assisted real-time guiding during implant placement. It’s also unlike static systems; it allows for continuous adjustment that enhances surgical precision and reduces complications such as misalignment and nerve damage. In the studies reviewed, this approach increases accuracy, especially in complex anatomical locations, as well as extraterrestrial images before the surgery. Clinical trials verified DN to improve the success rate of implant placement, and decrease the time needed to perform the surgery, as well as enhance the confidence level of operator. However, the learning curve and cost of materials are among the limitations. The future is strengthening prospects for development in the industry combining DN with digital technologies image 3D and augmented reality.
