It has allocated the new responsibilities associated with the enforcement of these texts between regulatory authorities with horizontal jurisdiction (such as the Autorité de la concurrence) and regulatory authorities with vertical jurisdiction (such as Arcom and the CNIL). The purpose of this chapter is to analyse this new institutional framework and to shed light on the dynamics that may result from it in terms of guaranteeing competitive order and economic public order in response to the challenges posed by the major digital ecosystems and the manipulations they may entail.
