This final analysis chapter looks at the poetry of the postmemoryPostmemory generation, exploring how it engages with the complexities of inherited trauma and reimagined identity. While earlier generations of Kurdish poets wrote from the direct experiences of displacement and struggle, the postmemory generation addresses the legacy of these experiences, reflecting on how the past is passed down through memory and narrative.
