Lumbar Puncture Simulator Based on Virtual Reality and Haptic Feedback for Medical Training: Preliminary Report of Prototype Design and Development
摘要
This work presents the preliminary design and implementation of a lumbar puncture simulator combining virtual reality and haptic feedback. It enables clinical training in a safe, immersive environment using an Oculus Quest 2 headset and Phantom Omni haptic device. The system allows interaction with anatomical structures and provides realistic force feedback. Future stages include expert validation, integration of segmented computed tomography models, and exploratory evaluation.
