This work presents OMNIQA, an open-source platform designed for our team to demonstrate the feasibility and advantages of a modular architecture for unifying and streamlining quality assurance (QA) across multiple imaging modalities, such as mammography and computed tomography (CT). The platform processes DICOM images of phantoms, calculates key quality metrics, and generates structured reports in formats such as DICOM-SR and JSON/FHIR. OMNIQA is vendor-neutral and modular, integrating seamlessly into clinical environments. It supports longitudinal monitoring and trend analysis. Validation was performed using phantom studies at a single clinical institution. OMNIQA showed a 90% pass/fail agreement in mammography and a mean difference of less than 1 HU in CT uniformity measurement. Its scalability, automation, and compatibility with open standards position it as a strong candidate for modern multimodal QA programs.
