The subject of our research concerns the 3D geometric recording of Georgios Schwartz mansion in Ampelakia, Larissa-Greece, and the production of drafting designs of all the floors top-views, façades, bottom-views and of characteristic vertical sections of the mansion. The necessary measurements data collection took place in October 2021 and the complete documentation was the subject of a Diploma Thesis in the School of Rural and Surveying Eng. of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (Emmanouilidis and Panagiotou 2023). Leica’s BLK360 and RTC360 Terrestrial Laser Scanners (TLS) were used in the field to collect the data, and the processing of the data was performed using the software application Cyclone REGISTER 360. In addition, Pointools Edit Pro (CONNECT Edition V.2), AutoCAD, and Geomagic Studio 2014 were also used to process the above-mentioned data. The results of the thesis include the production of the 3D point cloud, the 3D surface model of the mansion for its 3D printing on scale of 1:200, as well as the production of the above-mentioned drafting designs on scale of 1:50.
