With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, especially the application of natural language processing (NLP) technology in multiple industries, the potential of AI is increasingly valued in the financial field. This article designed a financial reporting model based on ChatGPT, tracked and investigated companies using the model, evaluated the accuracy of ChatGPT’s automatic generation of financial reports, and compared it with traditional financial report production methods. Data from businesses across different industries and sizes were collected and analyzed through a series of mixed methods studies, including qualitative interviews and a quantitative experimental design. Experimental results show that using ChatGPT can significantly improve report quality and production efficiency. This study not only provides financial professionals with insights into integrating AI technology into financial report production, but also provides a foundation for future research in this area.
