The purpose of the current paper is to study the issue of narrative strategies and tactics in women's narrative on the example of German and Russian linguistic cultures. The work clarifies the terminological basis of the “female narrative” and “female narrator” concepts. The material for the study is represented by the texts of fictitious autobiographies of German- and Russian female authors of the early twenty-first century (5 works by German authors and 5 by Russian ones), which were awarded literary prizes for the best prose piece, innovation, topicality and unique style. The narrative strategies identified during the study are divided into I‒I1 (strategies of self-presentation, introspection, retrospection, revision), I-HE (strategies of empathy and distancing), I-YOU (suspense strategy). Based only on the analyzed examples, representatives of German culture focus on such aspects as the relations between different generations, their orientation towards cultural and moral values. For representatives of Russian linguistic culture, it is essential that they accumulate life experience in a global sense, which is expressed in overcoming physical and moral difficulties, passing on cultural traditions to future generations, and searching within themselves for the reasons for existing challenging situations. Linguistic and stylistic means influence the tactics used by the narrator to implement narrative strategies.

摘要
