Drivers often face significant delays due to bureaucratic procedures following traffic accidents, particularly while awaiting insurance representatives. These postponements disrupt traffic flow, increasing the risk of secondary collisions, posing economic and safety risks as well. AccidentAlert is a mobile application designed to streamline accident reporting by enabling drivers to directly notify insurance providers and alert nearby users of traffic disruptions. The application was developed based on a review of existing solutions, interviews with insurance professionals, and survey responses from 178 drivers. Usability and effectiveness evaluations indicated that AccidentAlert successfully addresses user needs and enhances road safety through faster, more reliable communication.
