Harnessing Agile Principles: Enhancing Remote Workforce Management for Sustainability

Agility has become essential for triumph in today’s fast-paced commercial context. Agile management practices, gradually being integrated into human resources management, prioritize talent and demand adaptability and continuous communication within teams. Cultivating an agile work culture enhances collaboration, boosts flexibility, and increases employee engagement. COVID has augmented the swing toward hybrid work, fundamentally changing our approach to remote work, reinforcing business strategies, and redefining the concept of work itself. This research will employ a survey-based methodology involving 148 IT professionals to investigate how remote workforces perform more effectively when adhering to Agile principles such as Individuals & Interactions, Working Software, Customer Collaboration, and Responding to Change. The research will explore the positive impact of Agile methodologies on remote workforce management and discuss how these practices can be implemented to create sustainable and productive remote work environments. The results provide factors which measure productivity while remote working & also provide a significant relationship between remote working practices and sustainability through correlational analysis.
