(2024), this paper introduces the “Ocular Champions” Model, which addresses the demands of the digital era by emphasizing innovation, technology, social media, sustainability, and resilience as critical factors for competitiveness. Mastery of AI and data utilization is essential for firms to secure and expand their market positions. Coupled with a robust social media presence and a commitment to sustainability, these elements are pivotal for identifying modern Hidden Champions. The model highlights that companies leading in AI and data analytics outperform competitors, regardless of size or global reach.
