Web 3.0, AI, and the Passion Economy
摘要
This chapter explores the convergence of Web 3.0, artificial intelligence (AI), and the passion economy as a transformative force reshaping work, creativity, and value creation in the digital age. It argues that the limitations of the gig economy—marked by centralized control and minimal creative fulfillment—are being overcome by decentralized platforms and AI-driven tools that empower individuals to pursue meaningful careers rooted in their passions. Through examples like cohort-based learning and creator-led media platforms, this chapter illustrates how Web 3.0 technologies enable co-ownership and peer-to-peer interaction, breaking traditional gatekeeping mechanisms. Simultaneously, generative AI is democratizing the production of content, shifting the Internet’s focus from distribution to creation. Together, these forces redefine work by enabling creators, consumers, and investors to co-create, co-own, and co-govern digital ecosystems. This chapter envisions a participatory and equitable future economy led by Gen Z and shaped by decentralized infrastructure, community-driven platforms, and AI-enhanced creativity.
