Robotic systems have undergone a transformation driven by the Internet of Things (IoT). However, this hyperconnectivity introduces cybersecurity and identity management challenges due to the heterogeneity of components, the diversity of protocols, and the volume of data handled. This research focuses on designing and developing a reference architecture that integrates an identity management system based on distributed ledger technologies (DLT). The proposed framework guarantees secure authentication, dynamic and autonomous access control, and the reinforcement of information integrity and traceability.
