The tourism sector is increasingly digitalized, making it a target for cyberattacks. Proactive cybersecurity strategies that anticipate threats are indispensable to ensuring the safety of tourism infrastructures, from booking platforms to IoT devices in tourist destinations. This paper explores the role of Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and simulation technologies in enhancing cybersecurity in the tourism industry. It examines how structured Threat Intelligence enables the preparation of defences, how Machine Learning models can detect subtle attack signals, and the application of Case-Based Reasoning to learn from past incidents. Additionally, integrating Big Data and simulation environments helps test and strengthen security systems. The findings suggest that while these advanced technologies show great promise, their effective implementation requires a multidisciplinary approach to adapt to the evolving landscape of cyber threats.
