This chapter concentrates on the external ramifications that the ongoing war in Ukraine has been exerting on the domestic politics of Croatia. Particular attention is paid to the (national conservative) party of the Homeland Movement/‘Domovinski Pokret’ as well as to the older, more radical and extreme, political forces of the ‘broader right’. Of great interest is to highlight how these parties have been interacting with the major actors in Croatian politics and why and how they have been interpreting the ongoing war in Ukraine through references to Croatia’s Homeland War (‘Domovinski Rat’) of the 1990s.
