The review followed stages such as article collection, eligibility assessment, quality evaluation, and data coding to explore the relationship between education and sustainability on a global scale. By analyzing prior studies, the chapter highlights the strengths and limitations of integrating sustainable development concepts into educational curricula and offers recommendations to enhance the role of educational institutions in raising awareness among younger generations about sustainability and its impact on their lives and future.

摘要

In light of the environmental, social, and economic challenges currently facing the world, sustainable development emerges as a comprehensive framework aimed at balancing the needs of both present and future generations. Educational institutions play a fundamental role in raising awareness of sustainable development issues, particularly through SDG Goal 4, which emphasizes inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. This study presents a systematic review of literature related to education and sustainable development by analyzing articles published in 2024, identifying their objectives, methodologies, conclusions, and recommendations.
