Increasing the Efficiency of Thread Manufacturing by Planetary Rolling
摘要
Based on the review of tools for forming internal threads using plastic deformation and determining their effective use, planetary thread rollers with axial oscillation of the shaping surface have been proposed. Designs of solid and composite planetary rollers for various usage scenarios are presented. A prototype of a composite tool with a working part consisting of two disks with axial oscillation of the shaping surface and the possibility of changing the relative angle δ = 0°, 90°, 180°, 270 has been manufactured. The results of experimental studies on the processing of internal threads with the composite roller in blanks made of AMg6M alloy are presented, including an analysis of the geometric parameters of the obtained thread profile, rolling force, and surface microhardness of the thread.
