The paper contains a concept for the design of an autonomous spacecraft for uncooperative object removal in low-earth orbits. Uncooperative objects refer to objects that are out of order and had lost connection with the control center. Particular attention is paid to the method of uncooperative object removal based on the application of the two-arm manipulator—capturing the object, running diagnostics, and passing an impulse for object deorbiting if it is incapable of reuse. The issues of general design, ballistics, and design of systems, which are necessary for the full functioning of the spacecraft, were considered.
