The relevance of saving stages of Russian ultra-light and light-class launch vehicles is discussed. The low efficiency of rocket-assisted landing at the current technical level of Russian vehicles is demonstrated. As an alternative, the idea of rescuing stages by parachute descent into seawater is proposed. To utilize the waters of coastal seas available to Russia, a launching scheme with a ballistic pause and an intermediate orbit at low apogee altitude is considered. The thermal and mechanical stresses on stages during reentry into the atmosphere are assessed, and the features of three-stage rockets utilizing rescue equipment are described. Technical solutions for using a common drop zone for all detachable parts of a fully reusable launcher are proposed. The possibility of rescuing all stages by means of parachutes is explored.

摘要
