Investigation of the Possibilities of Using a Spacecraft Located in the Vicinity of the Libration Point to Observe Potentially Hazardous Asteroids
摘要
In this paper, various possibilities of extending the mission of a spacecraft located in the vicinity of the Sun-Earth libration point to observe Near-Earth celestial bodies are considered. In particular, it is proposed to send the Spectrum-Roentgen-Gamma and the Deep Space Climate Observatory spacecraft on the trajectories of an approach to the asteroids under study for their investigation from a close distance. Conclusions are drawn about the technical feasibility of such flights, taking into account the estimated values of residual fuel reserves.
