A Collaborative Verification Model for Ensuring the Authenticity and Trustworthiness of Digital Heritage
摘要
This study proposes the Collaborative Verification Model as an institutional approach to ensuring the authenticity and trustworthiness of digital heritage. The model is structured around three core components—verification by experts, certification by public institutions, and civic literacy education—enabling a systematic framework for historical validation and social acceptance. Methodologically, the study conducts a policy and institutional analysis of France’s Patrimoine numérique initiative, examining its legal framework, expert collaboration, and civic education systems. It also compares the model to Time Machine Europe's technology-driven approach. The findings demonstrate that the collaborative model provides a viable alternative to automation-centered frameworks by balancing technological efficiency with historical interpretation, legal recognition, and civic engagement in digital heritage governance.
