A quasi-static optimal power flow is a type of analysis that incorporates time-varying system conditions, such as load and generation variations, without a full dynamic simulation. Energy storage plays a key role in this analysis since it couples the problem in the time. In addition to the usual nonlinearity difficulties associated with load flow, this problem must deal with the fact that the optimization problem is large-scale and time-varying. This chapter presents an algorithm based on dual-decomposition to solve this challenging problem.

摘要

A quasi-static optimal power flow is a type of analysis that incorporates time-varying system conditions, such as load and generation variations, without a full dynamic simulation. Energy storage plays a key role in this analysis since it couples the problem in the time. In addition to the usual nonlinearity difficulties associated with load flow, this problem must deal with the fact that the optimization problem is large-scale and time-varying. This chapter presents an algorithm based on dual-decomposition to solve this challenging problem.
