Case Studies of the Patient with Faecal Incontinence
摘要
Patients with urinary incontinence often report issues with faecal incontinence. This is not surprising given the similarities in anatomical and neurological innervation of the pelvic floor/organs. This chapter covers the principles of assessment and management of faecal incontinence using case studies including the postpartum patient, the older patient and perianal sepsis.
