Nanotechnology, the intriguing interdisciplinary of physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering is a captivating field of endless possibilities. In this chapter, we discuss the various emerging and potential fields of application of nanotechnology. With active research on nanotechnology ongoing worldwide, it is hard to predict which realms of life would not be affected by the domain. The study of minuscule size scale materials encompassing the potential to transform possibly all imaginable spheres of life is the very beauty of nanotechnology. Diligent research is being conducted on the applications of nanotechnology in various fields, including healthcare, electronics, computing, agriculture, food, and space exploration. Our current understanding and utilization of nanotechnology can be thought of as the tip of the iceberg. While the field is for sure promising in various disciplines, it does come with a set of challenges including ensuring safety, understanding the long-term health and environmental impacts all the while guaranteeing economic viability.
