Climate change currently represents one of the greatest—if not the major—global crises, across all aspects: social, economic, and environmental. It poses a threat to the future of humanity and ecosystems, and to human dignity, requiring a collective effort to protect the environment on a global scale. Therefore, this introduction briefly addresses the central topic of this book: climate change in light of strategic litigation, whether at the national, regional, or international levels. This work is subdivided into three parts: general aspects of climate litigation; jurisdictional analysis; and the individual work of experts in the context of climate litigation. Therefore, the aim is to present the contributions of each of the authors, so that readers are intrigued by the topics presented here.

摘要
