Predicting crimes in advance can save lives and reduce property damage. Machine learning-based crime prediction has been the subject of much research by numerous academics. In this paper, focus on the most sophisticated techniques for crime prediction that have been created in the past, discuss possible challenges, and make recommendations for further study in the field. The increasing complexity of crime patterns requires the use of high-tech technology to facilitate effective crime reporting and prevention. This paper describes a method for creating a crime reporting site integrated with an AI system to help identify crime hotspots at specific times. By allowing users to report crimes instantly, the platform helps law enforcement respond more quickly. The AI module analyses past crime trends, places, and day-of-week trends using machine learning algorithms to determine likely crime hotspots. Initial results show the striking optimisation of crime detection and resource utilisation, as well as the potential of integrating AI into public safety systems. Technology allows authorities to allocate resources effectively, reduce crime rates, and improve public safety using predictive analytics.
