To my astonishment, at the end of the article I stumbled upon something for which I was not searching: the scientific basis for predicting the universal phenomenonPhenomenon of diversityDiversity in natureNature. This proved to be the first step on a stairwayStairway of unintended discoveriesDiscovery that became the backbone of this new book. One discoveryDiscovery after another became driving forceForce and liberation for this writing projectProject. With them, the physicsPhysics of diversityDiversity sheds new light on things that we all know but never questionQuestion, universityUniversity rankingsRanking, meritMerit, hierarchyHierarchy, diversityDiversity of opinionsOpinions, unnatural (artificial) diversityDiversity such as DEIDiversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), and especially the historic originOrigin of the policy of artificial diversityArtificial diversity. All of this is very timely in a scientific arena silenced by the pandemicPandemic, bloated administrationAdministration, Administrators, and political correctnessPolitical correctness. DiversityDiversity is everywhere. It screams to be questioned. What is available in plain view and overlooked is not questioned. The obvious is waved off as ‘everybody knows.’ I tend to go against the prevailing doctrine, so I questioned the physicsPhysics behind the diversityDiversity phenomenonPhenomenon. The unexpected discoveryDiscovery was the principlePrinciple with which to predictPredict the occurrence of natural diversityNatural diversity, and to understand the value of natural diversityDiversity. The first half of the book recounts how I tested the discoveryDiscovery of natural diversityNatural diversity. The second half is about unnatural (artificial) diversityDiversity, its impact on societySociety, and its futureFuture.
