The application of generative AI in cybersecurity goes beyond providing chatbots for performing core tasks in vulnerability testing and threat analysis, the usefulness of which alone would not justify integrating generative AI into SOC/SIEM operations. As a matter of fact, generative AI can be utilized in cybersecurity to perform tasks that require the combination of complex, context-specific intelligence and best practices into code to be used for partial automation of security analysis.
