Vocal process granuloma is a benign lesion of the glottis commonly encountered in otolaryngology practice. It was first described by Chevalier Jackson in 1928 as a contact ulcer on the mucosal surface of the posterior larynx [1]. Since then, various other—terms such as contact granuloma, arytenoid granuloma, and pyogenic granuloma—have been described to denote the same laryngeal pathology.
