Analgesia for Caesarean Section
摘要
Caesarean section is a commonly performed obstetric procedure. Inadequate analgesia in the perioperative period may adversely affect the physical and mental health of parturients. Systemic analgesic strategies may lead to side effects in high doses to mothers and newborns. We have a number of regional analgesia blocks like transversus abdominis plane block, quadratus lumborum block, rectus sheath block, wound infiltration analgesia, erector spinae block etc. available to provide analgesia in these patients. This chapter overviews various regional blocks used for postoperative analgesia after caesarean section.
