This paper aims to try to point out a clear roadmap that leads to the expected and planned effects when it comes to energy efficiency in the industrial energy sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The energy management system model - ISO 50001, through its application, is one of the clear roadmaps in the energy management planning process, which also brings financial benefits. Systemic management of energy consumption, as well as continuous improvement of the environment for increasing energy efficiency in the industrial sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a roadmap that has no alternative in modern society. With constant checking and improvement within the framework of everyday activities, the ability and competitiveness according to market demands increase. The energy management system applied in the economy (savings, cost reduction, reallocation of funds, etc.) with the application of financial mechanisms (development programs, development and commercial credit lines), by entering into international projects, with appropriate legislation (fulfillment of obligations, laws, by-laws, market mechanisms) contributes to creating an environment for increasing energy efficiency. A case study was presented on developing a plan for implementing this model at the cantonal level in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

摘要
